Mix together 1oz lime juice with the tequila, olive oil, garlic, and spices. Marinate the shrimp for 1+ hours. The lime and tequila will partially “cook” the shrimp.
Heat a large cast-iron skillet over high heat. Add shrimp and marinade to the pan, and cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring and turning shrimp until well heated and thoroughly cooked.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with the remaining 1 oz of lime juice and the chopped cilantro. Toss well
